BDC to co-sponsor child care licensing workshop

The Business Development Center, a program of the Southern Good Faith Fund, is co-sponsoring a “child care licensing” workshop. The workshop will be presented by a Department of Health and Human Services licensing specialist and will inform childcare workers of the requirements needed in order to start or expand a home-based or commercial child care business.

U.S. Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor, along with Representative Mike Ross announced Monday that the Southern Good Faith Fund in Pine Bluff has been awarded a $48,500 grant from the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Business Opportunity Grant (RBOG) Program.

Baptist Health salutes Dorothy Stuck with the Amazing Spirit Award. The award goes to those who embrace life by remaining active, healthy, and focusing on personal growth at 55 and beyond.

Most people wouldn’t expect Dorothy Stuck of Hot Springs to be white-water rafting at the age of 86 and she isn’t. She did that when she was much younger, a mere 84.

‘Business After Hours’ Making a Comeback in Arkadelphia
